Hargrove Teammates Presented with Outstanding Achievement Awards from ISPE

On October 1, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Boston Area Chapter awarded Hargrove Life Sciences Teammates John Spohn, CPIP, and Chris Blackwell with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the ISPE Boston Chapter Product Show at Gillette Stadium. The Outstanding Achievement Award is awarded to a group of members who have accomplished a specific task or completed a discrete project during the past year that significantly contributed to the ISPE chapter's success.
The award recognized Spohn and Blackwell's key contributions to an innovative program to simulcast educational presentations on pharmaceutical engineering topics. John Spohn, CPIP, is a Senior Project Manager with Hargrove Life Sciences Eastern Region Operations. John has provided owner's representative services and managed mission-critical projects in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and other industries. He has more than thirty years of experience in the design and implementation of automated processes, systems, and equipment. John is an active member of the ISPE and earned its Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional credential in 2011. Chris Blackwell currently serves as the controls + automation technical consultant for Hargrove Life Sciences New England. Blackwell has more than eighteen years of experience in the biotech, pharma, and chemical manufacturing industries. His expertise and knowledge include automation, DeltaV, PLCs, MES, and integration.
This award highlights Chris and John's hard work and commitment within the life sciences industry, said Doyle Johnson Hargrove Life Sciences operations leader. This award is a reflection of the time and effort they put forth to continue advancing the field of pharmaceutical engineering.
