Jul 18, 2017

The 2017 Engineering News Record (ENR) Sourcebook ranking, published on July 3rd, 2017, showed significant jumps for Hargrove Engineers + Constructors, most notably to #3 in the Chemicals sector, 6 spots up from its 2015/2016 ranking of #9. Hargrove has been steadily climbing in all of its ranked Engineering News Record’s (ENR) Top 500 Sourcebook sectors for the last 5 years, but being ranked in the top 3 for a major industry like chemicals is a first.

“I’m incredibly proud of our Team,” said Ralph A. Hargrove, President and CEO, when he learned the 2017 ranking. “It all points back to the strong relationships we’ve built with our clients and within our Team over the past 21 years. Our ranking is a direct reflection of our clients, whose success is intrinsically tied to our own, as well as our Teammates’ tireless efforts to provide outstanding technical design, and project support.”

Hargrove now holds a coveted top 5 spot in both the Chemicals and Pulp and Paper sectors (up to #4 from last year’s ranking of #5) as well as top 10 spots in Pharma (#8, emerging from an unranked position in previous years) and Industrial Process (#7, up 5 spots from the 2016 ranking). Hargrove’s Refining ranking moved up 5 spots to #11, and Power (Fossil Fuel) jumped 2 spots to #15.

The Hargrove Team has grown steadily year over year and now consists of over 1400 Teammates across 11 United States offices with a strong presence in the Gulf Region. Hargrove’s technical and professional staff includes process discipline engineers experienced in the special needs of the diverse clients they serve.
