Jun 27, 2019

The 2019 Engineering News Record (ENR) Sourcebook ranking, published on June 20th, 2019, showed a big move for Hargrove Engineers + Constructors, jumping to the #1 spot in the Chemicals sector, up from a #3 ranking last year and in 2017. Hargrove has been climbing in Engineering News Record’s (ENR) Top 500 Sourcebook sectors for the last 5 years.

“Not every firm has the dedication and expertise to work in the chemicals industry – especially when it comes to retrofit and revamp projects,” says Micki Kohn, Hargrove Executive Vice President, Project and Support Services. “Hargrove has grown in this market by consistently delivering safe, high quality work with the right team and bringing value to our clients.” Hargrove now holds several coveted spots in ENR’s Sourcebook at #5 in Pulp + Paper and #5 in Industrial Process, #14 in Power, and is holding steady for the third consecutive year at #11 in Refining.

The Hargrove Team has grown steadily year over year and now consists of over 2200 Teammates across 13 United States offices with a strong presence in the Gulf Region. Hargrove’s technical and professional staff includes process discipline engineers experienced in the special needs of the diverse clients they serve. The company states that the reasons for their success stems from their relationship-building culture – working as “One Team” with their clients – and their ownership structure as 100% employee-owned through one of the largest minority-owned ESOPs in the country.
